Thomas has been active in the financial industry for over 35 years. After successfully completing his law studies in Basel, he completed a financial internship and later managed funds for institutional clients as a portfolio manager.

Thomas has more than 35 years of experience in the financial industry. After studying law in Basel and completing a financial internship, he worked as a portfolio manager for institutional clients. He held management positions at Swiss banks, founded one of the country’s first internet banks, and built up the private label fund business of a major provider in Switzerland and Luxembourg. Most recently, he was responsible for the expansion and distribution of investment products at a renowned Swiss insurance company.
He was a long-standing Swiss representative on the boards of directors of Luxembourg funds, most recently as Chairman of a self-managed SIF SICAV focusing on alternative investments. Thomas has extensive knowledge of the financial industry in Switzerland and the EU and brings many years of experience in managing complex, cross-border projects.
